Roman's Model 2500 works just like the original ear piercing instrument invented by Roman Research in 1970. It uses a spring mechanism and a positive release trigger to pierce the ear and place the clasp on the stud in one operation. The ear piercing stud and clasp can be loaded in the instrument from the plastic mount without touching the stud or clasp.
