base metal, which is electroplated with various barrier metals,
including palladium, a precious metal more costly than gold.
Gold tone items are given a final electroplate
of 24kt gold. Many Perfections styles are more fully sculpted
and may be heavier than Whispers jewelry. Some women prefer heavier
earrings; others prefer the light weight of Simply Whispers.
